Lemongrass Thanksgiving Turkey Or Chicken



Ingredients:


  • 4 lb. Whole Turkey or Chicken

  • 2-3 stalks of Fresh Rosemary

  • 2 stalks of Fresh Lemongrass (cut & crushed)

  • 3 stalks of Fresh Thyme

  • 2 stalks of Celery

  • 1/2 Onion

  • 1 Medium Carrot

  • 1 Cup Potato

  • 2 Tbsp of Savoury Herbal Paste

  • 3/4 Cup of Lemongrass & Ginger Vinaigrette

  • 1 Tbsp of Salt

  • 1 Tbsp of Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

  2. Clean turkey/chicken and cut vegetables to the size that can fit in the turkey/chicken

  3. Whisk Savoury Herbal Paste and Lemongrass & Ginger Vinaigrette together

  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the turkey/chicken

  5. Brush the mixture of Savoury Herbal Paste and Lemongrass & Ginger Vinaigrette on the turkey/chicken

  6. Sprinkle the fresh crushed Lemongrass over the turkey/chicken

  7. Stuff the cut vegetables, stalks of herbs and some Savoury Herbal Paste and Lemongrass & Ginger Vinaigrette mix inside the turkey/chicken

  8. Put the turkey/chicken in a baking pan, along with any remaining cut vegetables and herbs

  9. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes, take out, flip the turkey/chicken over and put more Savoury Herbal Paste and Lemongrass & Ginger Vinaigrette mix.

  10. Put back into the oven and bake for another 45 minutes

  11. Enjoy with you favorite side dishes!
